Sabbath School
Sabbath School is a department dedicated to enhance the learning of the members through bible study guides, prayer sessions and world mission reports. We cater for children of all ages from kindergarten to late teens as well as young adults and mature bible scholars. This vibrant department enables the mind to be spiritually and intellectually challenged through Texts, discussions, videos and testimonies. We invite you to come and delve into the gospel truths bringing the bible to life.
At Bournville, Sabbath School starts at 9:30 every Saturday (Sabbath) morning with group prayer and song service. We then separate into classes for study using the Sabbath School Bible Study Guides which is mass produced for the worldwide family. Quarterly study guides are age appropriate and everyone is able to discuss and share what they learned during the week including repeating the memory text together. The sabbath school also cooperates with the Office of Mission Awareness in the promotion of support for world missions.
